I used to walk with my dog in the bushes behind our yard for long hikes. Always my camera at hand shooting some pictures and enjoying being alone. But my life with our five kids got so much busier I hardly had the time to do it lately. And since our dog died I haven't done any.
I looked trough my archive and found some picture I took two years ago.
I Like the colors of Autumn. Well on these pictures I helped a bit with Photoshop to get a "little" more color out of it.

Portait shoot in the backyard
If they do not like to be in front of a camera, you are in trouble. Who wants to sit still and look into a boring camera instead of exploring the backyard.
But to shoot her was easy. She loves posing.
Not so much this guy. It's hard to keep him on one spot for more then three seconds.
Usually she doesn't do what you want her to do. But this time it just worked fine.

Anybody out there
Every Time I read over other Photographers blogs I wonder how much time they must have. It seems time is unavailable for me. Running after all the other things I have to take care first. There is not much time left to do the things I wish.
My family is taken the biggest part of the day. And Photography is taken a very little part lately. And it still seems shrinking. Wonder if it might disappear of my daily schedule some Day...
This blog isn't really "up to date".
If you take a look from time to time, say hello.
Try to be better. I promise
Have a good weekend.

Beeing a wedding photographer is a terrific job. Two people start their life together. The day is full of love, hopes, dreams, plans, romance. Everybody is smiling and happy. It is always an experience I really enjoy. Every wedding is special and unique. This time it was a canadian/swedish union. Thanks to the Duecks and Poystis for this day. It was great to get to know this two strong families.

City Wedding
Only one week left. I'm getting pretty excited shooting a wedding almost in Downtown Winnipeg. I know for some photographers nothing new. But this is my first "BIG CITY" wedding. I'm waiting for this weekend since a while.

The Zoo
My daughter Lea takes Ballet classes. After one year of learning and practicing she had her first recital. The theme was "The Zoo" and she was a mouse. Her group performed an awesome dance around a big piece of cheese. I didn't have my camera along, but took some picture a day before.
She likes to act.
She is my supermodel since she was born.

Irina, Model of the day!
April, 18/ 2008
Last week we had finally some nice warm days. Seems that spring is working hard to push the winter out of place. So we took the chance to shoot some pictures for my Portfolio. Haven't done a lot for it lately.
Here is one that we took at the Research Station in Morden.
Thanks Irina, for your time.

We went for a two hour drive to Treesbank (somewhere southeast of Brandon) to shoot this wedding. Julia is german and Jeff is canadian. Her family and friends came all the way from Muenich.
The Ceremony took place in a small church with the shortest aisle I've ever walked on. :-) Was a real challenge.
